Today it’s been a beautiful weather here in my part of the world, it is true that weather can serve as a powerful element in your writing; it can be the atmospheric backdrop that gives a stretch of dialogue that extra flavor. I’ve been busy lately putting together two exhibitions and visiting local art clubs or street markets where you see artists with good work on sale.

As a possible avocation, I reckon I am doing well and I think I may feature some of the artist’s work once in a while. There are so many gifted talented people out there and I love discovering new ones all the time.  It’s the same kind of involvement and it’s like moving from an intimate to a more exposed space. 

I don’t collect art for the sake of collecting- I usually buy if I get to know the artist. One of my main inspirations for writing blogs and collecting art has been to explore the inner lives of high ability creative people, to learn more about how they realize their talents in multiple forms and areas of creative expression. The story and philosophy behind their work is what speaks to me.

Most of us have no idea of our real creative height. We are much more gifted than we know. Packed full of insights and resources for the creative life, these exhibitions and social events offer me new ways to thrive as a creative person.
